House hunting again...
Still working on supporting pictures correctly, will make a post soon with some cool pictures we made over the past weeks.
For now though, a little rant about our current housing situation. Yeah we''re moving again... For the first time in my life I am not moving by choice but out of circumstance...
The owner of the property we''re renting has had to make the unfortunate decision to sell the property. This offcourse is fully in his/her rights and I can only imagine the reasons behind this choice. To sell a property with good tenants that pay on time...
Normally I wouldn''t be worried about this at all. We''ve still got a lease well into June and the owner hopes to have sold the house on/before that date. That would mean that we have plenty of time to shop or simply wait and see how things go. In the current market most people buying are property investors very willing to take on existing tenants (all though at what rent....).
But as those close to us know the situation isn''t that simple. Heck it is far from that simple. June is a month that already is full of challenges for us as we are expecting our second child. Stability is the first idea that springs to mind when thinking of getting children and we thought we had that with a long term lease and an option for extension...
More importantly having to search for a house when you are about to have a baby, there are physical and practical impossibilities to that.
So we''ve had to make the interesting decision to start looking for houses already. It comes at great cost, the risk of having to pay double rent, the obvious headaches revolving around work (luckely I have an amazingly understanding boss), the sacrificing leave days I desperately need when the baby is born. I really could do with out.
But as they say, c''est la vie. You have to role with the punches and hope you can win with a knock-out. And that is the upside of the whole situation. Yes it sucks, but with a little luck we might come out wining with a nicer place to live.
So far we missed out on a brilliant location in Lane Cove West and in Lane Cove itself. Both where eye openers to us. Both where still occupied with tennants, both showed the risk property investors have when taking on tenants. I don''t know if it is because we used to be home owners ourselves but I would not want to have been in their shoes.
Today we looked at a place in North Ryde. We''re kinda hooked on Lane Cove but I have to say, very impressive neighborhood, and very impressive location. Keeping our fingers crossed on that one. We''re also hoping to see one or two more properties that have come on the market here in Lane Cove.

To live in a world without balenciaga bag is more painful than any punishment. Do you know that no one can replace balenciaga uk in my heart?
To forgive is not to forget, nor remit, but let hermes uk go; to be lonely is not because you have no friends, but no one is living in your hermes bag.
